Konkona SenSharma delivered a baby boy in March, but she is seen flaunting her baby bump on the cover page of the April issue of Ok! With this cover Konkona joins the league of celebrities like Demi Moore and Padma Lakshmi, who dared to bare their baby bump, but they chose to be without clothes while Konkona is covered. No doubt the shoot is done aesthetically and it looks wonderful.

This is her latest interview for her film "Mirch"! By an unknown reason, "Mirch" is postponed to next week "17 th Dec", anyway I am looking forward to see it !

It has been so long for Konkona's new films in cinema. Here is her next release , "Mirch" , which will be in theater on 10th Dec. The film is already premiered at the "I View Film Festival" and won the 'Popular Choice (Best Film)Award' .

The film is directed by Vinay Shukla and,which revolves around four short stories based on issues of women emancipation while Konkona SenSharma stars in two of these short stories ( as Rajasthani Princess and modern day woman).

Of course, I am die to watch it!

Watching "Wake up Sid" is like visiting an oasis while living so long in a desert. I really delighted every single moments of Konkona on screen ; while she leads from the front with her simple yet gorgeous looks. Her sensuous and soft dialogue delivery wins over the viewer in the first scene itself. Konkona handles Ranbir just like a mature understanding lady, in love with a young innocent boy.

(special mention is this time I get impression on Ranbir, who is a supremely talented actor! just wow)

Hay all , I am sure you all are really exited for this Friday release "Wake up Sid" , as much as I do. I hope this film will have the highest peak of both box office success and critically acclaimed , be the one land-mark film for Konkona's career. The producer, Karan Johar put a lots of affords for the film and hope this one cannot miss its success .

I still haven't watch this "Luck by Chance", because it is still not screened in Singapore. But I am delighted when I read through the various reviews through web. Nearly all reviews praise for Konkona's performances, and feel seriously keen to watch next week-end. Here, are some reviews that devoted to Konkona.

Konkona Sen Sharma will be seen in her first television commercial for Horlicks, formulated the drink especially for women and is available in two exciting flavors - chocolate and caramel. The drink contains no added sugar and is low in fat. This drink is recommended for women between 19 and 50 years of age .
Konkona said ,
"I am glad that my first TV commercial is for a product like Women's Horlicks, which is designed specially keeping in mind the daily nutritional need of a modern Indian woman. As a Bengali, Horlicks has been an integral part of my growing up years; therefore, I also have an emotional connect with the brand."

And this commercial will be aired soon on TVC.

Konkona at Kunal Basu's "Japanese Wife" Book Launch

February 4 , 2008 , Konkona attended the event to launch Kunal Basu's book on Aparna Sen's forthcoming film The Japanese Wife with her mother and Ranvir Shorey at JW Marriott, Juhu, Mumbai .

As I mentioned , the Japanese wife is the Aparna Sen forthcoming film starring Rahul Bose and Raima Sen. This book is earlier launched at the Singapore Writers Festival and now released from Harper Collins. ( I looking for this book in Singapore , but still not avalible here) .

As usual, Konkona wore a long black full sleeve cotton jacket with blue wide leg jeans and open toe black sandals while her mother looked regal in a tassar silk saree and a brocade blouse.
