Konkona Sen Sharma does her first TV commercial

Konkona Sen Sharma will be seen in her first television commercial for Horlicks, formulated the drink especially for women and is available in two exciting flavors - chocolate and caramel. The drink contains no added sugar and is low in fat. This drink is recommended for women between 19 and 50 years of age .
Konkona said ,
"I am glad that my first TV commercial is for a product like Women's Horlicks, which is designed specially keeping in mind the daily nutritional need of a modern Indian woman. As a Bengali, Horlicks has been an integral part of my growing up years; therefore, I also have an emotional connect with the brand."

And this commercial will be aired soon on TVC.

Filmfare Awards Nominees List Comes Out

Wow, the nominations of 53rd Annual Filmfare Awards comes out just now . Here, is the full list nominations.

Konkona got two nomination in same category BEST ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE (FEMALE) - for her performances from "Life in a ... Metro" and "Laaga Chunari Mein Daag" . Konkona is the last year winner for the same category .

(Metro or LCMD ,which will give Konkon her second Filmfare Award?)

For me , I cannot consider who should win this award because all nominees are the best her own , Rani Mukherji , Shilpa Shukla and Tisca Chopra !! ( I made the poll for the nominees )

But as usual , I wish my Konkona win the award and having colorful future.

"Aaja Nachle" is the Konkona second commercial song and dance film, where she play the local tomboy. From Media , she is said to be over confidence for playing unglamorous role beside the Beauty Queen "Madhuri Dixit" . Anyway Aaja Nachle is enjoyable film and I admire her work of versatility as an actress. Here is the some screen caps of her in Aaja Nachle . Konkona at Kunal Basu's "Japanese Wife" Book Launch

February 4 , 2008 , Konkona attended the event to launch Kunal Basu's book on Aparna Sen's forthcoming film The Japanese Wife with her mother and Ranvir Shorey at JW Marriott, Juhu, Mumbai .

As I mentioned , the Japanese wife is the Aparna Sen forthcoming film starring Rahul Bose and Raima Sen. This book is earlier launched at the Singapore Writers Festival and now released from Harper Collins. ( I looking for this book in Singapore , but still not avalible here) .

As usual, Konkona wore a long black full sleeve cotton jacket with blue wide leg jeans and open toe black sandals while her mother looked regal in a tassar silk saree and a brocade blouse.
